Public Law 88-320 AN ACT Granting the consent of Congress to a further supplemental compact or agreement between the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania concerning the Delaware River Port Authority, formerly the Delaware River Joint Commission, and for other purposes.

Congress is hereby given to the supplemental compact or agreement set terstate compact. forth below, and to each and every term and provision thereof: c<^°r^*"* °^ Provided, That nothing therein contained shall be construed to affect, °"^*^^" impair, or diminish any right, power, or jurisdiction of the United States or of any court, department, board, bureau, officer, or official of the United States, over or in regard to any navigable waters, or any commerce between the States or with foreign countries, or any bridge, railroad, highway, pier, wharf, or other facility or improvement, or any other person, matter, or thing, forming the subject matter of said supplemental compact or agreement or otherwise affected by the terms thereof: Provided further, That nothing in this Act shall be construed as granting the consent of Congress in advance to the performance or effectuation of any purposes set forth in article I, paragraph (1) not now otherwise permitted or provided for under the Agreement between the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey creating the Delaware River Joint Commission as a body corporate and politic and defining its power and duties, which was executed on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by its Governor on July first, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and on behalf of the State of New Jersey by the New Jersey Interstate Bridge Commission by its members on July first, one thousand nine Imndred and thirty-one, and which was consented to by the Congress by Public Resolution Number twenty-six, being chapter two hundred fifty-eight of the Public Laws, Seventy-second Congress, approved " ^ ^*^*' ^°^* ^ June fourteenth, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, as heretofore amended and supplemented and as amended and supplemented by the supplemental compact or agreement hereby consented to: SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COMMONWEALTH OF P E N N SYLVANIA AND THE STATE OF N E W JERSEY FURTHER AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING THE AGREEMENT ENTITLED "AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE

COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA AND THE STATE OF N E W

JERSEY CREATING THE DELAWARE RIVER JOINT COMMISSION AS A BODY CORPORATE AND POLITIC AND DEFINING I T S POWERS AND D U T I E S " ENLARGING THE PUBLIC PURPOSES OF THE DELAWARE RIVER PORT AUTHORITY AND EXTENDING I T S JURISDICTION, POWERS AND DUTIES AND D E F I N I N G S U C H ADDITIONAL PURPOSES, JURISDICTION, POWERS AND DUTIES.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey do hereby solemnly covenant and agree, each with the other, as follows: (1) Article I of the compact or agreement entitled "Agreement between the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey creating The Delaware River Joint Commission as a body corporate and politic and defining its powers and duties", which was executed on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by its Governor on July first, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and on behalf of the State of New Jersey by the New Jersey Interstate Bridge Commission by its members on July first, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and which was consented to by the Congress of the 31-667 0-65—17
