(LIQUIDATION OF CONlTfACT AUTHORIZATION)

For payment of obligations incurred in carrying out the provisions of title 23, United States Code, section 209, pursuant to the contract authorization granted by title 23, United States Code, section 203, to remain available until expended, $8,000,000, which sum is composed of $5,300,000, the balance of the amount authorized for the fiscal year 1964, and $2,700,000, a part of the amount authorized to be appropriated for the fiscal year 1965. HIGHWAY

For necessary expenses for construction of the Inter-American Highway, in accordance with the provisions of section 212 of title 23 of the United States Code, to remain available until expended, $8,000,000, of which $6,000,000 is for liquidation of obligations incurred pursuant to the contract authorization granted by section 4 of the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1962 (76 Stat. 1146). SEC. 302. During the current fiscal year applicable appropriations and funds available to the Department of Commerce shall be available for the activities specified in the Act of October 26, 1949 (5 U.S.C. 596a), to the extent and in the manner prescribed by said Act. SEC. 303. During the current fiscal year appropriations to the Department of Commerce which are available for salaries and expenses shall be available for hire of passenger motor vehicles; services as authorized by section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U.S.C. 55a); and uniforms, or allowances therefor, as authorized by the Act of September 1, 1954, as amended (5 U.S.C. 2131). This title may be cited as the "Department of Commerce Appropriation Act, 1966". TITLE IV—THE JUDICIARY SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES SALARIES

For the Chief Justice and eight Associate Justices, and all other officers and employees, whose compensation shall be fixed by the Court, except as otherwise provided by law, and who may be employed and assigned by the Chief Justice to any office or work of the Court, $1,925,000. For printing and binding the advance opinions, preliminary prints, and bound reports of the Court, $138,000.
