Be it enacted by the Senate and House if Representatives of the A pension of United States of America in Congress assembled, That there be f,}Zwg§‘ J';;;;}; granted to Joseph Morrison, late first lieutenant in the thirty-third Morrison. regiment of infantry, a pension, at the rate of seventeen dollars a month, to commence on the first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-five, and to continue during his natural life—the said Morrison having been wounded in battle while acting as lieutenant of marines on board the brig Eagle, in the action on Lake Champlain, September eleventh, one tbousand eight hundred and fourteen.
