Public Law 95-64 95th Congress Joint Resolution July 11, 1977 [HJ. Res. 539] Indian claims. Commencement of actions.

To amend the statute of limitations provisions in section 2415 of title 28, United States Code, relating to claims by the United States on behalf of Indians. Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress Assembled^ That (a) the t h i r d proviso in section 2415(a) of title 28, United States Code, is amended by deleting the words "more than eleven years after the right of action accrued" therein, and substituting the words "after August 18, 1977" in their place. (b) The proviso in section 2415(b) to title 28, United States Code, is amended by deleting the words "within eleven years after the right of action accrues" therein, and substituting the words "on or before August 18, 1977" in their place.
