For engineering and economic investigations to promote the development and utilization of the water, power, and related resources of Alaska, $864,000, to remain available until expended: ProwWec?, That $20,000 of this appropriation shall be transferred to the United States Fish and Wildlife Service for studies, investigations, and reports thereon, as required by the Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act of 1958 (72 Stat. 563-565). 16 USC 661 note. For necessary expenses of operation and maintenance of projects in Alaska and of marketing electric power and energy, including purchase of not to exceed one passenger motor vehicle for replacement only, $1,231,000. BONNEVILLE POWER ADMINISTRATION

For necessary expenses of operation and maintenance of power transmission facilities and of marketing electric power and energy pursuant to the provisions of section 5 of the Flood Control Act of 1944 (16 U.S.C. 825s), as applied to the southwestern power area, including purchase of not to exceed three passenger motor vehicles for replacement only, $8,193,000.
