Public Law 96-466 96th Congress An Act To amend title 38, United States Code, to provide for updated and expanded rehabilitation programs for veterans with service-connected disabilities, to provide a 10-percent increase in the rates of educational assistance under the GI bill, to make certain improvements in the educational assistance programs for veterans and eligible survivors and dependents, to revise and expand veterans' employment and training programs, and to provide for certain cost savings; and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That (a) this ActVeterans' may be cited as the "Veterans' RehabiHtation and Education Amend- Rehabilitation and Education ments of 1980". Amendments of (b) Except as otherwise expressly provided, whenever in this Act an 1980. amendment or repeal is expressed in terms of an amendment to, or 38 USC 101 note. repeal of, a section or other provision, the reference shall be considered to be made to a section or other provision of title 38, United States Code.
