Supplemental Appropriations and Rescission Act, 1981.
Making supplemental and further continuing appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 80, 1981, rescinding certain budget authority, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the following sums are appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to supply supplemental appropriations (this Act may be cited as the "Supplemental Appropriations and Rescission Act, 1981") for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1981, that the following rescissions of budget authority are made, and for other purposes, namely: TITLEI CHAPTERI DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE SCIENCE AND EDUCATION ADMINISTRATION
Of the amounts appropriated under the headings "Extension activities" and "Cooperative research" in the Agriculture, Rural Development and Related Agencies Appropriation Act, 1981 (Public 94 Stat. 3096. Law 96-528), for payment to carry out cooperative agricultural 7 USC 341 note. extension work under the Smith-Lever Act, as amended, and coopera7 USC 361a note. tive forestry and other research under the Hatch Act, as amended, American Samoa and Micronesia shall be entitled to a distribution, as determined by the Secretary of Agriculture, for the fourth quarter offiscal year 1981.
