An Act Jan. 8, 1983 [H.R. 5027] Walter E. Hoffman United States Courthouse. Designation.

Effective date.

To designate the building known as the United States Post Office and Courthouse in Norfolk, Virginia, as the "Walter E. Hoffman United States Courthouse".

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the building located at the intersection of Granby Street and Brambleton Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia, known as the United States Post Office and Courthouse, shall hereafter be known and designated as the "Walter E. Hoffman United States Courthouse". Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, record, or other paper of the United States to that building shall be deemed to be a reference to the "Walter E. Hoffman United States Courthouse". SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on November 1, 1982. Approved January 8, 1983.
