and services, for the purpose of hosting the meeting of the General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) in the United States in September and October, 1985. All moneys received for this purpose shall be credited to the appropriation "Salaries and expenses, general legal activities" notwithstanding 31 U.S.C. 3302. The Attorney General is further authorized to use otherwise available funds from the appropriation "Salaries and expenses, general legal activities" for fiscal years 1984, 1985, and 1986 as he deems necessary, to pay expenses of hosting such General Assembly meeting, including but not limited to reception and representation expenses. The authority of the Attorney General Expiration date, under this section shall continue through September 30, 1986. , DEPARTMENT OF STATE ADMINISTRATION OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS SALARIES AND EXPENSES (INCLUDING TRANSFERS OF FUNDS)
For an additional amount for "Salaries and expenses", $279,000, and in addition, $4,723,000, to be derived by transfer from "Contributions to international organizations" and $10,879,000, to be derived by transfer from "Contributions for international peacekeeping activities": Provided, That of the funds appropriated under this heading in Public Law 97-275, $3,500,000 shall remain available 96 Stat. 1185. until September 30, 1985. ACQUISITION, OPERATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS ABROAD
For an additional amount for "Acquisition, operation, and maintenance of buildings abroad", $17,140,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That of the funds appropriated under this heading in Public Law 97-275, $3,000,000 shall remain available 96 Stat. 1185. until September 30, 1985. Notwithstanding section 8(b) of the Board for International Broadcasting Act of 1973, as amended, the amounts placed in reserve, or 22 USC 2877. which would be placed in reserve, in fiscal year 1984 pursuant to that section, shall be available to the Board for carrying out that Act until September 30, 1985.
