The length of the voyage from Danzic varies from ten to twenty days ; so that corn may be bought and shipped there, and may arrive for entry in the port of London within a month. In the following statement I have, therefore, placed the dates on which the prices of wheat are given at Danzic, in juxta-position with the rate of duty which would exist here on the arrival of the wheat :—
