director of the Peking-Suiyuan Railway and in May 1917 he was promoted to the position of managing director of the same Railway. In June 1917 Mr. Yin was appointed managing director of the Shanghai-Nanking and Shanghai-Hangchow-Ningpo Railways. In February 1919 he was awarded the Third Order of Chiaho for services rendered in connection with Plague Prevention. In November 1919, at the recommendation of the Defence Commissioner of Sungkiang and Shanghai, his name was recorded as one eligible for appointment by the President in recognition of his services in connection with the Repatriation of Enemy Subjects. In January 1920 he was awarded the Second Order of Wenfu for services rendered in connection with particiption in the World War. In August 1920 Mr. Yin was transferred and appointed Member of the Councillors' Department of the Ministry of Communications. He was, however, reappointed managing director of the Shanghai-Nanking, Shanghai-Hangchow-Ningpo Railways in June 1921 which position he is still holding. In June 1922 Mr. Yin received the Second Order of Chiaho.
