3. The ſame Nigellus holds 1 hide in Nigraure, and Durandus holds it of him. Here is 1 ploughland. There are 3 borderers with half a ploughland. Here are 6 acres of meadow; and the paſture is half a mile long, and a quarter broad. It was, and is, worth 3 pounds. Theſe 3 manors belong to the church of Nigraure.

4. The ſame Nigellus holds 4 hides in Sudtone, and T. R. E. it was aſſeſſed at ſo much. Here are 3 ploughlands. The church of St. Mary de Monteburg holds it of Nigellus. Two hides are in demeſne, where is 1 ploughland and 3 ſervants. Five villagers and 5 borderers occupy 2 ploughlands. The third part of a mill pays 6 ſhillings and 8 pence. Here are 3 acres of meadow. The paſture is 3 quarters of a mile long, and a furlong broad. The wood is a mile and a half long, and a furlong broad. It was valued at 4 pounds; now at 100 ſhillings. Theſe 4 manors were holden T.R.E. by Spirtes, a prieſt.
