Port-hole[edit]

It's not clear from the book whether the final word on this page—"port-"—should be joined to the first word of the next—"hole"—as "port-hole" or "porthole". Other currently scanned editions don't help (all are hyphenated) and Gutenberg currently uses "port hole" instead (EDIT: Gutenberg now uses "port-hole" --xensyriaT 23:25, 18 August 2013 (UTC)), but J. Habakuk Jephson's Statement was reprinted from the January 1884 Cornhill Magazine, which prints the offending word as "port-hole"; this is now represented in transclusion. --xensyriaT 19:41, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
