This appears to have gotten confused. Depending on the era, 𒈣 and 𒂍 can look very similar. The EB form is 𒈣, but it's 𒂍 that has the pronunciation bit. In the era when they looked similar, 𒂍 differed from 𒈣 in that the horizontal strokes were aligned on the left and had the same length, and it had 4 vertical strokes on the right rather than 3.
