VISIT TO THE POST OFFICE DEPARTMENT


THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 1969


PRESIDENT'S SCENARIO:


You will arrive at the Post Office Department at 2:15p.m. where you will be met by the Post Master General, Winton Blount, who will escort you to his office on the third floor where you will meet key members of the Post Office Department.

After meeting with the above people, the Post Master General will escort you to the reception room across the hall from his office. You will address approximately 150 top Post Office Officials. Post Master Genarl Blount will escort you to the stage where a single stand-up microphone will be provided.

You will be introduced by Post Master General Blount. He will remain seated on the platform as you speak. (It is expected you will speak approximately 10-15 minutes).

At approximately 2:45 p.m. you will be escorted from the reception room by the Post Mater General and will proceed to the motorcade at the Post Master General's driveway at approximately 2:55 p.m.


NOTE:
The Press will be present in the reception room for your talk
