8:19		P		The President requested that⁠H. R. Haldeman be asked to come to the President's Office, when he arrived.
8:40	8:59			The President met with Henry A. Kissinger.
8:52	8:56	P		The President talked with⁠H. R . Haldeman.
9:00	12:41			The President met with the National Security Council. Those present were: William P. Rogers Melvin R. Laird Earle G. Wheeler Richard Helms Henry A. Kissinger Elliot Richardson U. Alexis Johnson George A. Lincoln Robert Murphy Andrew J. Goodpaster William P. Bundy Philip C. Habib Alexander M. Haig Bryce N. Harlow
10:38				Spiro T. Agnew joined the meeting at some point before noon. He departed for a speaking engagement in New York.
12:41	12:50			The President left the Cabinet Room, entered his office briefly with H. A . Kissinger, returned to Dwight L. Chapin's office, met with⁠H. R. Haldeman, and returned to the Cabinet Room where he reconvened the meeting of the National Security Council.
1:16	1:55			The President and the group with the exception of U. Alexis Johnson went to the Mansion for lunch.
2:02	3:25			The President and the group returned to the Cabinet Room, to continue the meeting of the National Security Council.
