ARTICLE II. The State of Perfection in Practice.[edit]

We have to solve here the three following questions:

1. Is episcopacy the most perfect of the states of the Christian life ?

2. Is the state of priests having charge of souls more perfect than the religious state ?

3. What are the marks and conditions of a vocation to the priesthood ?

St. Thomas, St. Liguori, and Suarez will furnish us answers to these questions.
