2005[edit]

The document this is attached to is the first of several out-of-print documents the US Army Center of Military History has converted to Electronic Format, and which are available under their Public Domain Copyright. I am posting this one here, and will do the others as I get time. They reflect much of the scholarship the German Army produced on World War II from its point of view, and these documents have been out of sight and oput of mind for about 50 years. Copyvio?[edit]

Terms on the CMH online site seem to suggest NC use only which is incompatible with the GFDL used here?

Public domain works (which include all U.S. Government works under Section 105 of the Copyright Act) may be freely copied by anyone for any purpose, commercial or otherwise. (The Supreme Court issued an important decision on this point in 2003, w:Dastar Corp. v. Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp., which I really need to post here, since questions like this seem to come up a lot.) Tarmstro99 00:11, 26 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
