Julia Ward Howe?[edit]
Is this really by Julia Ward Howe? I had always thought that she "borrowed" the melody of this song for "The Battle Hymn of the Republic." This song, I assumed, was a traditional one with no specific author. The closest I can find is this link, which I'm not sure is trustworthy. --Midnightdreary (talk) 13:23, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
