@Beardo: Because Layout 2 i clearly and empirically the superior layout of which all other layouts are mere pale imitations! :)

Alternately, it is my fairly strong preference for most works and so I routinely set it when proofreading a text. If there's a need to keep this story consistent with the rest of the issue / magazine do please feel free to change it. I proofread it as part of resolving a licensing issue, not because I am particularly invested in Lovecraft. Xover (talk) 06:00, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
