Usage [edit]

To break up discontiguous runs of pages primarily for legal papers, court rulings and similar. For continuing text, use of <pages>, as per style is preferred.

{{Pb-legal}}, {{Pbl}} are short-cut redirects to this template and are the prefered usage.


  • {{{1}}} word to be used
  • {{{2}}}, positioning of the line and label:
  • Add top for the line to be above label
  • Add left for the label to be in the left margin, and no break in the text (recommended for continuous text)
  • Leave blank or write bottom for the line to be below the label
  • {{{label}}}, prefixing word, default word is page, or label= to have no prefix. The prefix is omitted by default for a left-floated break
Formatting options
  • {{{border-width}}}, default is 1 px
  • {{{border-style}}}, default is dashed
  • {{{border-color}}}, default is #999999

For left-floated labels, you will need to introduce a margin. The class "indented-page" can do this:
