A. D. Bruss, Dead At 83. G. A. R. Vet. Abraham Dumont Bruss, 83, of 1038 Arlington avenue, G. A. R. veteran, died last evening. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Victoria Bruss, and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. John O. Sprake of Bayonne, Abraham D. Bruss, Jr., of New York City, Charles W. Bruss of Cedarhurst, Long Island, and Mrs. S. Tiffany, Mrs. R. Walker and Martin Bruss of Plainfield; one sister, Georgianna Walker of Bound Brook, and one brother, Jacob Bruss of Dividing Creek, Pennsylvania. He was born in Millstone, New Jersey, and was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Bound Brook and of General George B. Mead Post of New York City. The funeral will be held from his late residence on Wednesday at 2 p. m., the Rev. LeRoy W. Warren, minister of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.
