ABANO BAGNI, ä′ba-no bä-ñĭ, Italy, a health resort in the province of Padua, 29 miles from Venice by rail. Already in ancient times its hot sulphur springs were famous among the Romans as a cure for diseases of the skin, the town being known then as Fons Aponi. Pop. 5,500.
