AJALON, ăj′ạ-lŏn, said to be the modern Yâlo, a village 14 miles west-northwest of Jerusalem, was the town rendered memorable by Joshua’s victory over the five Canaanitish kings, and still more so by the extraordinary circumstance of the miraculously lengthened day.
