FISK, Fidelia, American missionary: b. Shelburne, Mass., 1816; d. 1864. She was educated at Mount Holyoke College and from 1843 to 1858 served as a missionary of the American Board with the Nestorians. She was the first principal of the Urumiah Women's Seminary.
