Gajja Mal, Rai Sahib, I.S.O. (1910) Headclerk and Superintendent, Khyber Agency; b, 1857; educ; Church Mission School, Peshawar; belongs to a Kapur Khatri family of Peshawar; joined Khyber Agency as Head clerk, 1880; accompanied the Khyber Force in the 2nd Afghan Campaign; active service in Tirrah Expedition, 1897-1898; present at Khyber during the disturbance of 1908; for the Tirrah Expedition received a pension of ET.50 per mensum, two clasps, a khilat and a medal; Rai Saheb, 1910; owns property in Peshawar city.
