Honorary Assistant Surgeon (retired); b. 1845; educ: London Mission School, Bangalore, the Anderson School (Now the Madras Christian College), and the Madras Medical College; joined Service in the Medical Department, 1866; served the department for 32 years: retired with the Honorary rank of Assistant Surgeon, and the title of Rao Sahih, 1898; is a member of the Sangeeta Samajam; is a social reformer; President, Hindu Balika Patasala, Egmore.
