Kamaraswami Naik, B. J., B.A., Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore, and President of the Bangalore City Municipal Council; b. 1863; educ: Central College; passed B.A., 1885; entered the service of Mysore Government as a Revenue Probationer, 1885; served at Malakani and other centres till 1889; appointed Assistant Commissioner, 1893; Superintendent of Police, 1898; transferred to Revenue Department, 1907; became Deputy Commissioner since 1908.
