Oldfield, Sir Richard Charles, Judge, High Court, U.P., India, e.s. of Henry Swann Oldfield; b. 1828; educ. Eton, and at Haileybury; joined service, 1848: volunteered his services during the Mutiny of 1857, and was present at Agra; became Additional Judge of the High Court, U.P., 1874; confirmed, 1881; retired, 1887.
