BARTH, bärt, Karl Heinrich (1847—). A German musician. He was born at Pillau, Prussia, and was a pupil of von Bülow, Brousart, and Tausig. He was long a member of the well-known trio, Barth, de Ahna, and Hausmann, whose chamber-music recitals were widely celebrated.
