(Dublin Board); an Irish Lights Commissioner; Chairman Irish Railway Clearing House; appointed Chairman of Property Losses (Ireland) Committee, 1916; a member of Irish Convention, 1917-18; a Steward of the Turf Club of Ireland; eldest son of William Goulding, .J.P., D.L., M.P. (d, 1884), Summerhill, Co. Cork, by his marriage Mith Maria Heath, dau, of Edward Manders (d. 1893); b. 7th March, 1856; m. 23rd February, 1881, Ada, only dau. of late Charles Lingard Stokes, of Pauntley, Gloucestershire, and has issue one son, four daus.
