Text[edit]

You shall not plow with an ox and with a donkey together.

Rashi[edit]

You shall not plow with an ox and with a donkey

The same law applies to any two species in the world; and the same law applies to leading them together tied as pairs while transporting any cargo.

Ramban[edit]

And He said: You shall not plow with an ox and with a donkey

And the same law applies to all the sorts of mixed species. And it is an explained mitzvah, from (Leviticus 19:19) "You shall not let your livestock mate with a diverse kind"; for it is the way of anyone who works his land to bring his pair into one stable, and will crossbreed them.
