One who eats at his father in laws house in Yehudah (this refers to the land allotted to the tribe of Yehudah, which later became the kingdom of Yehudah) without witnesses, cannot make a claim against his fiancees virginity. (NOTE: This refers to the engagement meal, in Yehudah it was customary to leave the couple alone at this meal and therefore he has no claim, because there is a chance that he took her virginity at this point.) The widow of an Israelite man and the widow of a Kohen their ketubahs are worth 100. The court of Kohanim would raise the value of the Ketubah of virgin daughter of a Kohen to 400 and the rabbis did not disagree.
