The questions at the end go from least specific to most specific, less personal to most personal. This gives kind of a begging quality to his questions, like, "remember all those good times, when I bit your little lips...? Come on, baby..." ...whether Catullus wanted this or not.

Note in all of Catullus' poems how attached he is to his own feelings. Unlike some other love poets, he speaks directly from personal experiences. Comparing this with Ovid's Amores... unsigned comment by 96.228.38.41 (talk) 08:16, 12 February 2008.
