Chap. XX.An Act declaring the assent of Congress to an act of the general assembly of Virginia, therein mentioned.

Assent of Congress given to the act of Dec. 8, 1824.
Navigation of the Appomatox.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the assent of Congress is hereby given and declared to an act of the general assembly of Virginia, entitled “An act incorporating a company for the purpose of improving the navigation of the Appomattox river, from the Pocahontas bridge to Broadway,” passed on the eighth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-four.
