VIII. Resolution to repeal a resolution, approved the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixteen, authorizing the President of the United States to employ a skilful assistant in the corps of engineers.

Joint resolution of April 29, 1816, repealed.Resolved, by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, from and after the first day of October next, the ​joint resolution, approved the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixteen, authorizing the President of the United States to employ a skilful assistant in the corps of engineers, be, and the same is hereby, repealed.
