South Africa Act 1909[edit]

Thanks for your note re. the above - you're right, it was quite a job, though it would have been several orders of magnitude more hellish but for OCR scanning! The trouble with FT status is getting the proofreading done. There just doesn't seem to be that level of interest in South African topics here on Wikisource - a shame really as this is a pretty fundamental document in SA history (either that or the length put people off). I was pretty exacting when I went through it myself, looking at it line by line, I'm glad to see that you didn't find anything wrong with it. Given that the multiple proofreading requirement seems to have been fulfilled, I think that a push for FT status is the next step. I'll sort this out in the next day or so, in the meantime it would probably help if you noted that you have proofread the Act on Talk:South Africa Act 1909.

Cool, I'll make that comment on the talk page. Let me know when you go for featured and I'll give some support. I've come across a few other of the South Africa pages you've added. I'll take a look at a few of those as well over the next day or two. Andycarrs 00:14, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent, I've listed the Act for FT. --Xdamrtalk 02:47, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
