B.S. Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 1869. Honorary A.M., Harvard, 1906. Civil Engineer. President of the Boston Society of Engineers. Chief Engineer of the Boston Transit Commission. In charge of designing and constructing the Boston Subway, the East Boston Tunnel; &c.
