Question about text[edit]

Is "Though flattered by imitators galore Miss Potter's work stands supreme. Her many picture stories should be among the first books owned by children." really part of the book? 77.97.208.25 21:35, 10 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don't know if it's found in modern versions. I'll have a look at a modern printed copy when I get a chance. I expect that the answer is that obviously it's not part of what Beatrix Potter wrote herself, but was to be found in the printed version from which the Gutenberg text was taken.
