Also known as Gregory Theologus, Gregory the Theologian, or Gregory Nazianzen. Gregory of Nazianzus was a Greek-speaking theologian of the 4th century who served as patriarch of Constantinople. He is canonized as a saint in the Catholic and Orthodox churches.
