Henry Fothergill Chorley (1808–1872)

See biography. Henry Fothergill Chorley (1808 – February 16, 1872) was an English music critic, librettist, and friend of such notables as Arthur Sullivan and Charles Dickens. Best remembered today for his music journalism.
