Richard Launcelot Maury
(1840–1907)
Lawyer, soldier in the Confederate States Army (Lieutenant Colonel) and a Commissioner of Immigration in Mexico. Eldest son of Matthew Fontaine Maury. Became multi-millionaire in Richmond Virginia while working as a lawyer through his mining investments in South America.
