Five Visions Of Captain Cook[edit]

Five Visions Of Captain Cook is a poem by w:Kenneth Adolf Slessor (1901-1971) about Cook that was published in a booklet, Trio (1931) (OCLC 46469570all editions). As far as I can tell this is not PD. I have this poem as part of another collection, accompanied by two pictures that are probably PD. John Vandenberg 09:36, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Collections of biographies[edit]

There are three works on archive.org that are collections of biographies. Should we pick one and try to do it all (putting the biography in perspective of the entire work), or do the chapter(s) relevant to Cook in all the works? John Vandenberg 09:49, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

I would lean toward picking one work and uploading it all. Some of those books are biographies about many men, which might also help out for other WS authors. And, I also hate to see a work that is incomplete (clearing the backlog of incomplete texts is a time consuming process), so if we can add a complete text, that would be the best thing, in my opinion. However, most of these are going to be copy and paste, so we could probably do all of them in a week's time.—Zhaladshar (Talk) 14:29, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
At the very least, make an index page with links to the other works like a certain lazy WS member did for Tolstoy and include a link to where the entire document can be found in the ((incomplete)) template. Sherurcij Collaboration of the Week: Author:Captain Cook 16:34, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

A general history and collection of voyages and travels[edit]

Many of the volumes of A general history and collection of voyages and travels (1824) mention Cook; it is available online as text.[1] John Vandenberg 10:56, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
