Nah, Canadian copyright law says that Crown Copyright expires 50 years after creation - while personal copyrights expire 50 years after death. Either way, pretty much anything written by WLMK is public domain. (even if you went by first publication date of the diaries, they'd be expired. Can someone correct the link to Mackenzie King's diaries?
