Coll., London, 1869-79, also to Council of Legal Education Dec, 1872, to Dec., 1875, examiner in constitutional law and history of England for LL.B. in London Univ. 1872-7, author of Fifty Years of the English Constitution 1830-80, Remedies for War, Science of Law, Systematic View of Science of Jurisprudence, Law of Fixtures, Lectures on International Law, etc., a student of the Inner Temple 2 June, 1859 (then aged 24), called to the bar 11 June, 1862, certificate of honour 1862 (4th son of late Andrew Amos, Esq., of St. Ibbs, Hitchin, Herts); born 1 June, 1835; married 24 Dec, 1870, Sarah Maclardie, dau. of Thomas Perceval Bunting, Esq., of Manchester, and has issue.
