Croft, Sir Herbert George Denman, Bart., M.P. Herefordshire 1868-74, M.A. Merton Coll., Oxon, revising barrister 1878, a member of the Oxford circuit, J.P., D.L. Herefordshire, deputy chairman quarter sessions, a student of the Inner Temple 24 Jan., 1859 (then aged 20), called to the bar 18 Nov., 1861 (only son of Sir Archer Denman Croft, 8th bart.); born 25 July, 1838; married 10 Jan., 1865, his cousin, Georgiana Eliza Lucy, dau. and co-heir of late Matthew Marsh, Esq., M.P., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
