Goldney, (Hon.) John Tankerville, LL.B., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1869, B.A. 1868, from Harrow, puisne judge of British Guiana since 1883, attorney-general and admiralty advocate Leeward Islands 1880-1, acting chief justice 1881-3, a student of the Inner Temple 22 Oct., 1864 (then aged 18), called to the bar 30 April, 1869 (youngest son of Sir Gabriel Goldney, of Beechfield House, Wilts, Bart.); born 15 June, 1846; married 9 Feb., 1875, Jane Macgregor, youngest dau. of late John Laird, Esq., M.P. (see Foster's Baronetage).
