Greenfield, Benjamin Wyatt, M.A., Corpus Christi Coll., Camb., 1835, from Rugby, author of The Heraldry of the Bar Gate, Southampton, Genealogy of the Tyndales of Gloucestershire, etc., etc., a student of the Inner Temple 9 April, 1834 (then aged 22), called to the bar 5 May, 1843 (2nd son of James Greenfield, late of Brynderwern, Carnarvon); born 28 June, 1811; married 1st, 7 Jan., 1836, Vere Booth, youngest dau. of George Booth Tyndale, Esq., of Westfield Hayling; she died 21 Jan., 1876; he married 2ndly, 2 June, 1877, Charlotte, 4th dau. of late Henry Chase, Esq., of Calcot Place, Berks.
