Greenfield, Thomas Joseph, goes the South Wales circuit, of the war department May, 1853, to 1871, some years principal of finance division, educated at Llandovery Coll., a student of Gray's Inn 4 Feb., 1871, certificate of the Council of Legal Education for Hindu and Mahommedan laws, called to the bar 26 Jan., 1874, advocate of consular and international courts of Egypt 1877–8 (eldest son of Thomas Conolly Greenfield, clerk in War Office); born 27 April, 1853; married 7 May, 1858, his cousin, Frances Louisa, dau. of Francis Greenfield, Esq., of Backworth, Northumberland, ordnance storekeeper Tynemouth Castle, and has issue.
