Witt, John George, M.A., King's Coll., Camb., 1863, senior fellow, 1st class classical tripos 1860, Hulsean prize 1861, from Eton, editor of The Law Journal Reports, author of Mutual Religion of the Christian Influence and the School of Alexandria, British Honduras, Pritchard's Divorce Digest, a member of the South-eastern circuit, a student of Lincoln's Inn 24 Jan., 1S61 (then aged 24), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1864 (2nd son of James Witt, Esq., late of Swaffham Prior, co. Camb., and of Lincoln's Inn, bar.-at-law, dec.); born 24 Sept., 1836.
